TABLE TALK & COMPLINE

Held every other Wednesday night at 6:30pm, Table Talk & Compline is a gathering for our whole church family with three main focuses: a meal, a talk with discussion, and corporate prayer.

Check our calendar to find out when our next Table Talk is happening!

If you plan to join us for an upcoming Table Talk, please register ahead of time. You can find the registration forms linked to each event in our calendar.

A Meal, A Discussion, & Prayer

The meal for Table Talk is always catered, so you don’t have to bring anything with you. We first eat dinner in the parish hall, then adults and youth move down to the chapel for discussion while younger children head outside for supervised play time. To finish out the evening, everyone gathers back together in the chapel for Compline, a brief service of nighttime prayer from our prayerbook. Nursery is available for our youngest children.

We’re currently reading Digital Liturgies by Samuel James as the focus for our discussion. With guidance from the book, our discussions this season focus on navigating digital technology with Christian wisdom.

The Table Talk & Compline Fund

Participating in Table Talk is 100% free. Catering, unfortunately, is not. For those who are able to contribute, we encourage donations to our Table Talk & Compline Fund. All contributions to this fund are used to offset the cost of catering and other expenses related to Table Talk.

We suggest a donation of $5.00 per individual per event, or $15.00 per family of three or more. We’ll have an offering box at Table Talk where you can contribute with cash or a check. You can also contribute online by using our Church Center giving portal and choosing “Table Talk & Compline” as the fund. Again, this isn’t required, but every contribution helps us to keep Table Talk going.
